Our History
Scotch Boy Inc. originated as a lawn maintenance business in Fort Collins, Colorado 18 years ago. After a year or two of mowing, trimming, raking, and bagging, Rob MacDonald decided he wanted to expand the business to include sprinkler system installation and repair, and landscape design and installation. He began taking courses in landscape design and irrigation theory. After certification from the city, Scotch Boy entered a new phase. Eventually the MacDonalds decided to move home to Cheyenne and Rob continued the business there. After building a strong residential client base, the decision was made to venture into commercial work. Scotch Boy Inc. has been involved in many high profile projects in Cheyenne such as: Cheyenne Depot Plaza, Cheyenne Botanical Gardens, Dell Range branch of Warren Federal Credit Union, Downtown branch of First Interstate Bank, and the new Laramie County Library.
As Scotch Boy Landscaping enters it's 19th year of business, we are excited about new growth in and around Cheyenne, and we look forward to working with you!
